The British Council East Asia IELTS Prize is now inviting applications from students who plan to begin undergraduate or postgraduate studies locally or overseas in a tertiary institution that accepts IELTS as part of its admission requirements in the 2019/20 academic year. Three Local Prizes amounting to 650,000 THB will be awarded to students from Thailand, and Regional Prizes for regional winners in the East Asia totalling 2,510,000 THB. Applicants must hold a minimum band score of 6 in each of the four test sections of an IELTS test taken with the British Council in the East Asia region from 1 April 2018 onwards. Regional Prizes
Grand Prize: First year of tuition fee up to 1,736,000 THB (Actual amount depends on the university's first year fee of the winner.)
Second Prize: 434,000 THB Third Prize: 347,200 THB
