Refreshing your Summer with "ECO EDO Nihonbashi 2019 Gokan de Tanoshimu Edo no Ryo" at Nihonbashi– Yaesu – Kyobashi
From this July 5 - September 23 ECO EDO Executive Committee and Nihonbashi-Meikyou Association will be launching their summer annual festival "ECO EDO Nihonbashi 2019 Gokan de Tanoshimu Edo no Ryo in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district.Experience the traditional culturesthat were cultivated in Nihonbashi during Japan's Edo period under the concept"Edo no Ryo" or summer coolness way of life. Explore a sense of coolness through all five senses, by the "sight" of dazzling fireworks and lanterns-decorated street. "Taste" the refreshing limited-time festival menu and "feel" refreshment by wearing the beautiful traditional Yukata while enjoying the sounds of wind chimes and many more.
ECO EDO Nihonbashi 2019 will be hosting a variety of fascinating events and exhibits such as "Kingyo Daichochin Sando" enjoy photography in authentic Edo-period atmosphere with vibrant goldfish-patterned paper lanterns decorate all the way from "Naka Dori" street leading up to Fukutoku Shrine. The road will be set up"Naka Dori Lighting" stunning digital illuminate along the street. In addition, through a pathway between Fukutoku Shrine to Fukutoku Garden also lined with 200 Edo-style wind chimes offeringsoothing timbre wherevisitors can watch beautiful festive lights, brighten up the scenery at night.
For those installation art-lovers, be sure to visit "Art Aquarium 2019" at"Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall"on the 5th floor of COREDO Muromachi 1between July 5 and September 23. The exhibit is open from 11 am until 10.30 pm (except Saturday starting at 11.00 am - 11.30 pm) ticket cost only JPY / CNY1000 for adult and JPY / CNY600 for kindergarten-elementary school children.
Feed your appetite at "Kingyo Sweets & Bar Walking" with 114 food outlets from Nihonbashi district providing you a wide range of photogenic goldfish-themed menu. Moreover, visitors can experience strolling around the Edo-period festival dressing in traditional summer attirewith Yukata rental service at"Kyoraku TEI Yukata Station"3rd floor in COREDO Muromachi.
