KBank welcomes the Chinese New Year Festival by producing Ang Pao packets that feature the lucky sayings "prosperity, wealth, good fortune and happiness" and a healthy rat, a symbol of well-being, sitting with its tail embracing wealth and surrounded by ancient Chinese money, including coins and sycees (yuanbao). The illustration shows a backdrop of fireworks lighting up the sky to celebrate happiness and to usher in the beginning of the New Year. The red packets are tailored and stylized in auspicious traditional Chinese designs. KBank has produced 3 million pieces of Ang Pao available for our customers at any KBank branch nationwide, starting from 17 January 2020 onwards.
