Bangkok--11 Mar--Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. earned a total of 6 top honorsat the Car of the Year 2020 Awards presented by Grand Prix International Pcl., the organizer of the 41stBangkok International Motor Show 2020.Each model in its lineup is an award-winning model. Additionally, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand was also recognized as the Best Export Brand for its leading success in exports from Thailand. The company’s best-selling model, the Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck, earned the award for The Best Pickup 4WD Under 2,500 cc while the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport premium SUV was awarded The Best PPV Diesel 4WD Under 2,500 cc. The popular Mitsubishi Xpander crossover received The Best MPV Under 1,600 cc award. Both of its city cars also received the recognitions, with the Mitsubishi Attrage recognized as The Most Valuable Eco Sedan while the Mitsubishi Mirage was recognized as The Best Fuel Economy Eco Car. Mitsubishi Motors Thailand was also recognized as the Best Export Brand for championing Thailand’s vehicle export volume. Last year, it exported 284,500 BU (built-up) units accounting for 27% of Thailand’s total vehicle export volume. The company also exported 48,200 KD units resulting in a total of 332,700 units exported in 2019.
