Research by experts in various lifestyles, in line with research by the FutureTales Lab into technology’s contribution to life, includes Baycrest, a specialist in care for older adults from Canada. We have partnered with the technology giant Huawei to develop a 'Smart City’ involving its digital platform at THE FORESTIAS, a forested city,” said Mr. Malaisirirat.
Associate Professor Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), said: "Well-being in daily living will become even more important to consumers. The MQDC Standard has been established for design that avoids long-term environmental and health impacts. It strictly prohibits the use of certain building materials for long-term conservation. We also use technology to design and build according to principle of 'sustainnovation’ and share knowledge with the public. MQDC’s projects are supported by innovations such as research by Professor Michael S. Strano of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a global expert in nanobionics, to add new capabilities to trees such as to glow in the dark or to measure pollution, which will be used at THE FORESTIAS and future projects.”

MQDC currently has 24 real estate projects under development, sale, construction, or in the process of transfer totaling over THB300 billion. Magnolias Waterfront Residence at ICONSIAM and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, totaling over THB20 billion, are 100% and 60% transferred to customers, respectively, for a combined THB15 billion. These figures show consumers’ trust in MQDC and also in Mandarin Oriental as a service provider. MQDC’s projects also include Whizdom Avenue Ratchada-Ladprao, Whizdom Connect Sukhumvit, and Whizdom Essence Sukhumvit. Three projects are under construction and ready for selling: THE FORESTIAS, The Strand Thonglor, and Mulberry Grove Sukhumvit. A further 3-5 projects are in planning.
