PLUS Takes Asia Responsible Enterprise Award. Thailand's First Property Management Firm to Win in Investment in People Category.

PLUS Property has been granted an award from Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2021 in the category of 'Investment in People'.  The company becomes Thailand's first and only property management firm to have received this award, which is proof of the investment vested in PLUS employees.  Personnel learn from the PLUS Eduplex institute, wherein emphasis is placed on realizing each staff member's value and capacity.  Special professional skills are augmented onto staff so they may transform and break through their limitations, thus becoming better at growing and facing challenges.  With this approach, the staff transcends the realm of 'Property Management' and are able to look after every dimension of living for client residents under the 'Living Management' concept.  The PLUS LiFE philosophy means every day presents an opportunity to build on proficiency, with an aim of delivering service by experts who are able to respond to multiple aspects of clients' living needs.  PLUS strives to lift Thailand's standard of property management work towards global acceptance.

Anukul Ratpitaksanti, Managing Director of PLUS Property, the full-service professional property and facility management agency, said he was proud for PLUS - a Thai company - to have received an award in the category of 'Investment in People' from the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2021, under the property management business group.  AREA is organised by Enterprise Asia, an independent body promoting corporate social responsibility in the Asia region.  The award attested PLUS being an organization which places great importance in its staff, who have been supported by the PLUS Eduplex institute since 2018.  The institute has achieved its goal of lifting employees' capacity so they may possess expertise in their lines of work and expand skills relevant to other professions, fueling their sustainable growth within the organisation.  PLUS regards its employees as important members of the family which is the organization, and believes that investing in human resources is a key driver for the organisation's progress and success.  Striving to be a dependable workplace that serves as a solid foundation for its personnel, PLUS continually looked after its employees by providing support that was not limited to development of skills and capabilities.  Attention was given to workplace environment, employee benefits, and the health of staff and their family - the goal being to sustainably produce property management experts to professionally look after residential projects as well as commercial buildings.

Ms. Suwannee Mahanarongchai, Deputy Managing Director, Business Strategies and Asset Management, PLUS Property Company Limited, in her capacity as director of the Plus Eduplex institute, revealed that PLUS succeeded in being granted the Asia Responsible Enterprise Award (AREA) 2021 in the category of Investment in People.  The company had submitted its Environmental Management Trainee program - a collaboration between PLUS Property and the Faculty of Environment at Kasetsart University - to AREA awards 2021.  The program was the result of efforts to develop a curriculum for environmental management at residential developments which would be sustainable and encompass all critical dimensions such as air quality, noise, vibration, water system, waste sorting and management, green space, ecology, and environmental law relevant to buildings.  Staff who participated in the program developed and presented environmental management projects for the residential developments that were under their care.  The projects were then expanded upon and applied to the management of said residential communities.  The Environmental Management Trainee program was just one of many learning curricula offered by PLUS Eduplex to transform employees into staff that were a level beyond Property Management personnel; the aim was to foster 'Living Management' professionals who are able to look after the client residents in all dimensions of living at each residential development.  This was done by acquisition of new professional skills on top of the fundamental skills required in each employee's line of work.  The result was increased well-roundedness of work capacity and the possibility of each employee expanding into new lines of work.  This model has so far ushered in personnel who are able to expand upon their newfound skills to fill the roles of Butlers who look after residents' lifestyle needs, Curators who are proficient in the care of high-value art pieces and assets, Arborists who maintain the health of large trees at the property projects, and 'Backyard Planters' who grow vegetables and fruit and maintain the edible garden at each project.

PLUS Eduplex partitions its learning curricula under separate faculties, each offering areas of study relevant to distinct lines of work.  Personnel are trained to be proficient in their own line of work and must possess a skill level which meets PLUS's required standards.  Special courses to augment their capacity with skills from other lines of work are delivered through a Micro-Learning Experience Platform, which delivers concise content under minimal time by means of attention-drawing online presentations.  The platform enables learning to take place around the clock.  Personalised learning means proficiency in a particular line of work can be improved whilst cross-discipline training also takes place for the pursuit of new knowledge.  The 'Coach Expertise' modules allows employees to learn from the company's long-time professionals who offer 25 years of experience in all relevant lines of work, in addition to direct experts who are teaching partners or guests from external organisations.  Knowledge exchange is also fostered amongst work colleagues.  PLUS believes personnel development will aid in employees' work life, create career growth opportunities and allow the staff to work happily and take pride in the organization.  This drive to create professional staff members is a mechanism for success and allows employees to grow alongside the organization sustainably, according to Ms. Suwannee.
