"The New Reality" Exhibition : Let experience the Virtual Worlds Where the worlds of creativity meet technology

"Creativity + Technology" is a new fusion path of the Thailand's creative economy

Currently, technology is considered one of the important factors for the creative industry, both directly and indirectly. This includes Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Blockchain. This is coupled with changes in the global context which are now in a state of rapid flux. It is required for people to adapt to various kinds of volatility. In one aspect, these technological developments can create experiences for users efficiently, while opening specialized occupational opportunities and new areas of business.

"The New Reality" exhibition invites all visitors to experience virtual technologies without limitations through three part : "Experience" a cutting-edge immersive digital Art Installation, " Explore" Learning and understanding the history of virtual technology, and "Exchange" an exclusive talk event for creative digirati to share their perspectives and specialized work experiences with the younger generation. The exhibition will take place from October 4th to 29th, 2566, at the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC Bangkok) from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm (closed on Mondays).

The exhibition comprises:

Experience - The experience of virtual reality through a 4K digital art installation. It is an immersive experience of visuals, smells and sounds. Users are invited to explore the virtual world with augmented reality technology such as creating a virtual doppelganger, and the Saw Real Rabbit from KAIJU SMUGGLER, for an immersive experience beyond imagination.

Venue: Meeting Point Fl. 1 and Rooftop Garden Fl.5, TCDC Bangkok

Explore - This encourages visitors to reach back into the past to learn and understand the future of virtual technology. It is divided into two zones, which are: 1) Createch & Virtual Production Introduction. Adding Creativity + Technology creates new entities for use in life, and new forms of business which are not the same as before, plus inside looks at various pertinent businesses and industries which include: Art Installation, Music & Entertainment, Animation and Virtual Production, from both creatives and students, and 2) Virtual Production Kiosk, which enables visitors to get involved in a demo Virtual Production and try out Interactive Virtual Screen Systems with VR and AR technology.

Exchange is an exclusive seminar event from leading gurus of the creative digital sector sharing their perspectives and how to be prepared and shedding light on opportunities for new businesses under the theme of 'Future growth of Virtual Production in Thailand'. These comprise:

- 7 October 2023: Representatives from the industrial sector will talk about the perspectives from various business sectors about developing opportunities and the challenges of Virtual Technology in Thailand.

- 21 October 2023: Representatives from renowned universities will be sharing their opinions on adaptation and preparation, as well as changes to educational syllabi on the topic of Virtual Technology, for the future creation of personnel in Virtual Production.

"The New Reality" Exhibition is part of a larger program to promote a creative ecosystem for the development of virtual worlds, hosted by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA. This will be launching real experiences in the creative production of content in the "Virtual Media Lab", which is to be officially opened in November 2023.
