Big C’s focus on fun shopping continues with the launch of a new promotion that invites Thai consumers to collect the characters “B-I-G-C” to get a 100 baht discount coupon and enjoy a lucky draw with prizes including pick-up trucks and motorcycles valued at more than 29 million baht.
Ms. Pariyanuch Na Taguatung, Marketing and PR Marketing Director, Big C Supercenter PCL, said, “From the middle of September, until the end of October Big C will run a ‘Get 100 baht discount and enjoy a lucky draw for a vehicle’ promotion with many consumer-friendly discount coupons and prizes. This is the biggest and most exciting campaign that Big C has arranged this year with a budget of 42 million baht for promotional activities and advertising. The cost of TVC is over 10 million baht.”

For every 500-Baht purchase during September 16 — October 24, consumers will get a coupon (shoppers with Big C cards will be given 2 coupons). On the left side of the coupon is one of the four B-I-G-C characters. Anyone who collects all four characters will receive a 100 baht discount coupon to buy any product valued at over 600 baht. Alternatively customers can choose to submit just one character and receive a five baht discount to buy any product priced at 150 baht.
On the right side is a lucky draw coupon with prizes valued at over 29 million baht. Consumers can fill in their name and address and put the coupons in the promotion box at any Big C store. The lucky draws will start on Monday September 19 and run for five weeks with one winner announced every week in five different regions of the country. A total of 25 motorcycles are ready to be given to lucky winners. The last week will include a lucky draw for five pick-up trucks, one pick-up truck for each of the five regions, that will be held on 26 October 2005. The winners will be announced in the “Kayab Pod” TV program aired on Channel 5 every Sunday at 5:00 PM and at customer service counters at any Big C store.
