SPY Wine Cooler in search of party organizers for In SPY Party Contest “term 2”
After the success of last year’s inaugural contest, SPY Wine Cooler, a leader in the ready to drink (RTD) market in Thailand, is once again in search of Thailand’s most creative party organizer. Dubbed In SPY Party Contest “term 2”, this year’s participants are challenged to organize a party for their teachers. Besides stimulating the Thai youth to express their innovative and creative potential, the competition aims to strengthen relationships between students and their teachers. The contest runs from September to November, with scholarships worth 250,000 baht for the winning teams. The deadline for application submission is October 30th 2005.
Ms Suvadee Saengsarai, PR & Advertising Supervisor of Siam Winery Trading Plus Co. Ltd., manufacturer of Spy Wine Cooler, said, “The company sees the importance of the development of the imaginative and creative skills of Thailand’s young people. For last year’s successful Contest, a total of 120 proposals were sent to us. The In SPY Party Contest “term 2” is again a good opportunity for Thai youths to show their creativity and express their ideas.”
This year’s concept gives students the opportunity to show respect to their teachers. “This is also a great chance for participants to get together with their former teachers, who otherwise might not have time to meet,” Ms Suvadee adds. “Participants can use their imagination to surprise their teachers. The company supports Thai youths to employ their imagination and learn how to work as a team, which are important for their self development.”
Those interested in In SPY Party Contest “term 2” must apply as a team, consisting of not more than eight persons. The contest is open to anyone aged between 18 and 25 years. Candidates must propose their ideas in organizing a party as well as how to invite and impress the teacher. The judging criteria consist of five elements: Decoration Design, Food Design, Drink Design, Music Design, and Creativity Design.
From all participants, the best 16 teams will be selected to present their proposal to the committee. Four teams will proceed to the finals. They will be given a budget of 30,000 baht each to allocate and organize their proposed party. The total prize for all the winners is 250,000 baht worth of scholarships.
