Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. [SET symbol: RATCH
] today announces its unreviewed consolidated financial report of the Company and ubsidiaries for the first 9-month operating performance of 2005 as at accounting period of January - September, 2005.
The Company recorded net profit of 5,406 million baht or earning per share at 3.73 baht, increasing by 9% from the same period of 2004. Meanwhile, the Company has realized the third quarter net profit of 1,401 million baht or earning per share at 0.97 baht.
For the 9-month period of 2005, the Company’s consolidated total revenue
was 34,704.71 million baht increasing by 14.74% from the same period of 2004, which consisted of electricity sales of 34,251.13 million baht, interest income of 184.52 million baht, sharing profit of the subsidiaries and joint-venture companies namely Tri Energy Company Limited (held by Ratchaburi Gas Company Limited at 50% stake), Ratchaburi Power Company Limited (at 25% stake) and Siam Ethanol Exports Company Limited (held by Ratchaburi Energy Company Limited at 15% stake) amounted to 130.74 million baht, and other income of 138.32 million baht.
The Company’s total costs and expenses were 28,328.21 million baht
increasing by 16.42% from the same period of 2004, which consisted of cost of electricity sales of 27,511.37 million baht, selling and administrative expenses of 808.13 million baht and other expenses of 8.71 million baht.
Meanwhile, the Company’s interest expense was 137.46 and income tax was
75.87 million baht.
For the third quarter of 2005, the Company’s consolidated total revenue was 11,870.97 million baht increasing by 11.27% from the same period of 2004, which consisted of electricity sales of 11,649.16 million baht, interest income of 66.48 million baht, sharing profit of the subsidiaries and joint-venture companies amounted to 137.46 million baht, and other income of 17.87 million baht.
