Mr. Kamol Juntima, Chairman of the Board, IT CITY Public Company Limited reported the company’s performance for the first 9 months of the year 2005 that the company’s total revenue was 3,351.93 million Baht with the growth of 20.18% and the net profit of 117.44 million Baht with the growth of 27.37% comparing to the same period of the year 2004.
For the third quarter of the year 2005, the company’s total revenue was 1,284.58 million Baht with the growth of 19.47% and the net profit of 52.23 million Baht with the growth of 28.13% comparing to the same period of the year 2004.
The key reasons for the continuous growth of IT CITY are: 1. The continuous growth in revenue resulted from the existing 21 branches. 2. We have recently many high growth products such as MP3, PDA Phone, Notebook, etc. 3. IT CITY has provided the new and latest products continuously. 4. IT CITY has organized the monthly and quarterly selling and marketing events. 5. IT CITY has now become the Thailand largest and abreast of the time one stop shopping IT center. 6. IT CITY has got well accepted from the customers and more direct support from both domestic and foreign suppliers. 7. IT products are the products that are used to increase the efficiency for both business and learning, therefore, it is resultant to the continuous increase in purchasing power.
Within the fourth quarter of the year 2005, the company is going to expand 2 more branches; at IT Square — Laksi and Siam Paragon — Bangkok, which will increase the company’s capability to reach more customers. From the said factors, it will make IT CITY retain its leadership in IT retail business in Thailand and retain its business growth in the year 2005.
