Bangkok--Nov 8--SET
Thailand’s Money Channel, Thailand’s first and only 24/7 finance and investment channel, has launched a campaign to promote investing amongst the general public. Total prizes are worth nearly THB2 mln. , including a car and cash. The campaign starts Nov. 25.
SET President Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong said that the SET places great importance on investment education, and has been using various media. The Money Channel is one of the SET’s most important educational tools, broadcasting information on finance and investment matters to the public 24/7.
The Family Know-How Co. Ltd. (FKH) manages the channel. Mr. Ratchapol Laovanich, FKH’s Managing Director, announced that the Money Channel launched a campaign to promote a greater interest in managing money and investing by the general public. Prizes include the grand prize, a Mazda 3 car, as well as numerous other prizes collectively worth THB1.7 mln.
“The audience will have a chance to win the grand prize by telling us how they view our channel. They may view Money Channel at home, via the Samart satellite, UBC97, their local cable TV service or the broadband service called ‘Buddy Broadband’. Then again they may view the Money Channel at their broker’s office or at a hotel. So, those viewers who wish to enter the contest simply write down, on a postcard, how or where you view the Money Channel and what your favorite program is. Then send the postcard off to the Money Channel at the SET’s address. Various prizes are waiting for the lucky winners,” said Mr. Ratchapol.
The lucky draw will take place every Friday on the “Roo-Laew-Ruey” Program (which literally means ‘you’ll get rich when you know this’) starting from Friday November 25, 2005. FKH will accept postcards until February 28, 2006. The lucky draw for the grand prize will take place on Investors’ Day, March 5, 2006, at the SET Building. Prizes include home theater sets, motorcycles, televisions, and 1-year subscriptions for Money & Wealth Magazine.
