The Hotel Costes legendary DJ St phane Pompougnac invites you to come into his world of lounge, hype and chic sounds at a unique festive seasonal party at Bed Supperclub, Saturday 17th December 2005.
Hotel Costes, and its music guru: St phane Pompougnac, are two names that are definitively linked to each other, as music lovers all over know the famed Paris hotel and its renowned club, and the famous series of CD compilations “mixed by St phane Pompougnac”.
In Paris, St phane Pompougnac started his career at Caf Costes, Queen, Privil ge, Diable des Lombards, and then moved on to Les Bains, where he encountered Claude Challes, who broadened his music scope. And then one day he met up again with Jean-Louis Costes, who asked him to mix music at his hotel restaurant. This was back in 1997. Little by little, Stphane started leaving his musical mark at Hotel Costes. The customers, hooked into his universe, asked him about his music and his mixing. This sparked the idea of a compilation that was to spread to the world the spirit of the H tel Costes, a mythic place where baroque is woven into avant-garde, where at any moment the muffled mood might go electric. St phane brought his influential style to the sumptuous surroundings of Paris’ most coveted celebrity stopover (guests include the likes of the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bruce Willis, Emma Bunton, Kylie and Craig David).
Today he is DJing at Gucci, hopping from Bristol (where he plays at Massive Attack’s open bar) to Rio, working with Madonna (he remixed “What it feels like for a girl”), whirling Nicole Kidman at Cannes for the release of “Moulin Rouge” or performing at Cameron Diaz’s restaurant in Miami, the Bamboo Bar, while he is now currently composing his second personal album, which should be released early in 2006.
At Bed Supperclub, on Saturday 17th December 2005, guaranteed cool rhythms together with selected drinks from Chivas Regal will be served. Sounds will range from St phane’s latest compilation, “H tel Costes 8 (2005)”, and some of his best from his previous compilations. The hottest festive seasonal party will be on Saturday 17th December 2005. Tickets are available at BED SUPPERCLUB from November 21st to December 14th, priced at Baht 1,250 net, including two drinks, as well as a welcome drink.
