To cap off its six-year series of classroom-without-walls activities spreading its “More Dirt, More Experience” philosophy among Thai children, Breeze has teamed up with the Ministry of Education to organize the four-day “Breeze Opening the World, Sharing the Experience Grand Finale,” the largest indoor edutainment park in downtown Bangkok.
The Grand Finale highlights the 6-year success of the ‘Breeze Opening the World of Learning’ Program by featuring a massive number of learning
activities, encouraging children to learn real skills for real life
without worrying about getting dirty.
The event also marks a very special New Year’s present from Breeze to Thai children and their families. They are welcome to participate in the event
free of charge between Friday, 23 December and Monday, 26 December at BEC Tero Hall, Suan Lum Night Bazaar.
According to Mrs. Sunsanee Supatravanij, Vice President, Home Care and Oral Care Division for Unilever Thai Trading Ltd, “Breeze has spent over
100 million baht on the ‘Breeze Opening the World of Learning’ program to ignite the ‘Learning Real Skills for Real Life’ concept among teachers and students at 15,000 schools nationwide.”
“The ‘Breeze Opening the World of Learning’ program has received favorable feedback and support from the community and society. Thus, we are celebrating the 6th anniversary by investing 30 million baht to organize this event, using nearly 5,000 square meters of BEC Tero Hall.”
“The Finale showcases over 100 activities, workshops and fund-granted student projects to give kids the opportunity to participate in fun,
hands-on experiences,” said Sunsanee.
“We believe that the event will ‘open the world’ and ‘share the experience’ about out-of-classroom learning among Thai children, while helping teachers and parents encourage their students and children to develop themselves to a higher level. The Finale is expected to attract
over 10,000 participants from around the country. Breeze will also provide
financial support for schools interested in participating,” added Sunsanee.
Mrs. Pornipa Limpaphayom Secretary-General, Office of the Ministry of Education’s Basic Education Commission (OBEC) said, “The Ministry of
Education and Breeze have the same goals in organizing this event that
encourages children to gain more experience. I believe that the children will have fun while learning new things to supplement what they have learned in the classroom.”
