Thailand’s Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) approved the listings of 7 bond issues of Ch. Karnchang Pcl. (CK) worth THB6 billion, boosting the total outstanding value of its listed bonds to THB762.85 billion (approx. USD18.61 billion).
“Investing in the BEX should be an interesting alternative for the investors, as they will have a wide variety of 78 listed bonds, from public and private sectors, to fit their risk and return preferences,” Mr. Santi Kiranand Ph.D., CEO of the BEX said.
CK’s bonds are straight, unsecured and unsubordinated bonds, with a bond representative. Bankthai Pcl. will be the bondholders’ registrar. All CK bond issues received an A- credit rating from TRIS Rating Co. Ltd. indicating that they bear a low default risk. Details of the CK bonds are:
