The world becomes curious about “The 4400” as rumors about their mysterious abilities spread. Opinions divide and trouble brews as it becomes clear that their presence will alter the course of the human race.
Over the last century, 4400 people have gone missing. When all 4400 return suddenly at once, without having aged a day and without memory of their disappearance, federal agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris were put on the case to uncover the mystery.
Now, a year after it was revealed that the 4400 had been abducted and returned by future humans, it has also become very clear that these 4400 have returned with strange abilities that will affect the course of the human race. Tom Baldwin had been thrown into a desk-bound job for previous insubordination, but is reinstated when Agent Skouris is sick of her inept partners and appeals for Tom’s reinstatement in the field. With the two agents now back in action, they soon discover more unfathomable activities from the 4400.
‘The 4400 Centre’ is set up as a common place for both normal people and the ‘gifted’ ones to discover the powers that lay within them. This leads to the world becoming more curious, and rumors soon begin to fly and opinions divide. As The 4400 struggle to regain their lost lives, each will soon realize the importance of their roles in the eventual events to come that will shape the future of the human race.

Tom Baldwin
One of the two Federal Agents tasked to investigate the mystery of “The 4400”, Tom gets reinstated as a field agent after an appeal from his partner, Agent Diana Skouris. With his marriage officially over, Tom struggles to maintain his relationship with his recently awakened son, Kyle.
Diana Skouris
With a scientific background, Diana is assigned as Tom’s field partner in The 4400 investigations. Now having officially adopted one of the 4400, Maia Rutledge, as her daughter, the investigation becomes all the more personal for her.
Jordan Collier
A billionaire, Jordan has since closed the Arcadia Estates (initially to house The 4400), and has instead opened the first 4400 Centre — a place for ‘members’ and for normal people who are seeking to unlock the ‘4400’ within themselves. Author of the book “4400 and Counting”, he reveals to the world that they were sent to the future and back.
Maia Rutledge
Missing for more than half a century, Maia returned with the power to foretell the future. But aware that this ability frightens those around her, she now claims to no longer have that ability, though she secretly keeps a journal of her precognitive visions.
Shawn Farrell
Ostracized by his fellow students, Shawn joins the ‘The 4400 Centre’ where he is taken in and accepted as Jordan’s new protg. He now uses his powers to manipulate life-force to generate revenue for the Centre.
