CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (SEASON 6)
First & Exclusive
Every Wed, 10pm
Starting 15 February 2006
Only at AXN (UBC Ch.19)
Las Vegas' coolest crime-busting forensic experts are back! Led by nightshift supervisor Gil Grissom and head of the swing shift team Catherine Willows, the two forensic teams are brought back together to face the challenge of solving a series of baffling and mysterious deaths in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This much anticipated season follows from the amazing season five finale directed by cult-favorite Quentin Tarantino. The inspired choice of the Oscar-winner to helm the season finale catapulted CSI even higher into the ratings world - more than 40 million people tuned in to the episode finale in the United States alone, making it one of the most-viewed TV programmes in history!
Season six echoes with the plot threads introduced in the Tarantino-helmed finale and explores how the CSI team is coping with having one of their own attacked. And how about forensics investigator Nick himself? Will he pull himself together and recover from his terrifying ordeal after being buried alive in a glass coffin by a madman?
Expect plenty of grisly details and heinous crimes in the season ahead, and marvel as the team uses increasingly high-tech and technical forensic tools to comb through the evidence for clues in their search for the elusive solution.
CHARACTERS
Gil Grissom
For nightshift team supervisor Gil Grissom, CSI is more than just a job — it has been his calling since he was a child. Known affectionately as “The Bug Man”, Grissom is a forensic entomologist with a fascination for all things creepy and crawly.
Catherine Willows
A blood spatter analyst, Catherine loves her work at CSI because of the buzz she gets from solving puzzles. Catherine has experienced the darker side of Las Vegas, having moonlighted as an exotic dancer to put her through college. She has a young daughter, Lindsey.
Sara Sidle
A materials and element analyst, Sara is CSI's livewire. A Harvard graduate, Sara can solve any problem that is thrown her way, except for the way she relates with people. Perhaps that's why she throws herself into her work more than the other CSIs.
Warrick Brown
The only member of the CSI team who was born and bred in Las Vegas, Warrick uses his extensive network of contacts in all the hotels, bars and clubs in the city to help him in his work. Warrick is CSI's audio/visual analyst.
Nick Stokes
Nick is CSI's hair and fibre specialist. A popular people-person, he is Warrick's best friend. In the season five finale “Grave Danger”, Nick was rescued just before death after having been kidnapped by a madman and buried alive.
