SETTRADE.Com Co., Ltd., announced that the final round of the 9th SETTRADE Youth Music Competition of Thailand tool place on Sat. Jan. 28 — Sun. Jan. 29. The event was jointly organized by SETTRADE.Com and Mahidol University’s College of Music.
The event provided a great opportunity for young people to demonstrate their musical capabilities and talents, hence encouraging them to further develop. That’s why SETTRADE places such a high importance to this activity and hopes it encourages other organizations to help promote the musical talents of Thai youth.
The prizes are rewards for exhibiting Thai youths’ musical talents. The prizes are especially important for upcountry youth who performed local musical instruments extremely well. SETTRADE is proud of them that they are interested and cherish the Thai culture.
Assoc. Prof. Sugree Charoensook, Ph.D., the director of the College of Music at Mahidol University, who also chaired the project, said “The competition has really provided a great opportunity for Thailand’s musically-gifted youth.
