Better Vision Group Company Limited sets to project the image of trendy fashion eyewear leader for all family members. The company in cooperation with The Mall Group organizes Summer Eyewear with lots of activities and special promotions at the Event Hall, The Mall Bangkapi during March 16-22, 2006 with aims to boost sales during the high season. It targets 20% sales growth at the end of this year.
Pakee Pracharktam, managing director of Better Vision Group, the leading optical retail chain with over 90 outlets in Thailand said regarding the organization of “Trendy Lifestyle by Better Vision” that the company has got the full cooperation from The Mall group in organizing this mega summer eyewear fair at the Event Hall of The Mall Bangkapi. This is regarded as the first optical fair by single company in the area over 635 square meters. At this event, the company will have on offer over 30 leading brands of fashion eyewear such as Gucci, Armani, Guess, D&G, MaxMara, Prada, etc. for the customers to choose according to their summer activities or lifestyle.
“This event is part of the strategies under our new market approach, which not only would give our clients a new experience and enhance our image as the fashion eyewear leader, but it would also be a good opportunity to introduce a new trendy service meant for all family members featuring coffee and reading corner as well as a cozy atmosphere for the customers’ friends and family members to sit and relax while waiting. The company has set aside 20 million baht for the re-branding and new market approach project which is expected to drive the sales growth by 20% this year”, said Pakee.
Better Vision Group’s MD added that in addition to featuring various fashion eyewear, the company will also offer contact lens from leading manufacturers, free eye sight check up, on stage activities and entertainment and special promotions for this event. During the first evening of the event, the company will organize the opening ceremony reflecting the fashion eyewear leadership with performance and fashion show by supermodels and leading actors/actresses. Moreover, there will also be an interview with trendy and famous family regarding their lifestyle.
At present, the total market value of optical business in Thailand is estimated around 5,000 million baht. In 2006, the market is forecasted with continuous growth rate of about 5% despite some variable factors such as oil price, interest rate and the fluctuated exchange rate. Better Vision Group currently has about 18% market share.
