Bangkok--29 Mar--Hill & Knowlton
Gaysorn has invested over 30 million baht on internal renovations to maintain and emphasize its positon as Bangkok’s premium shopping centre whilst still providing an excellent service to its hi-end customers.
Mr. Charn Srivikorn Chairman of G.S. Property Management Co., Ltd. says “The internal renovations have been carried out to strengthen Gaysorn’s image as a premium shopping centre and a place for local and foreign customers to visit for a relaxing and unique shopping experience. To minimise disruption to shoppers, the internal renovation is taking place gradually with renovations starting on the third floor. The renovations to install new balustrades and column cladding will then continue on the Ground, First, and Second floors. We expect the work to be complete and our new look to be unveiled during June. Throughout this period shoppers can enjoy a perfect shopping experience, especially during this month as each store has received their latest collections welcoming the new season “Spring/Summer 2006” “.
In addition to new balustrades and column cladding, the renovations at Gaysorn will focus on providing a relaxation space for customers on the Ground and Lobby floors. The new custom designed resting zone is an addition to the excellent services provided to local and foreign customers who visit and shop at Gaysorn.
“The internal renovation is a part of our long-term plan to improve our unique and up to date shopping atmosphere together with our response to the world of international fashion which is constantly changing. As an international shopping centre we are committed to supporting local and foreign shoppers and we believe that Gaysorn will welcome more customers in 2006 compared to previous years. The TAT’s aim to increase the number of tourists visiting Thailand from 13.38 to 13.80 million people will help us achieve this. In addition, as Thailand is celebrating the 60th Anniversary of His Majestry the King’s Coronation throughout this year we are working in cooperation with RSTA members to prepare and celebrate this special historic event with Thai people.”
Gaysorn, opened following extensive renovation in 2002, is a joint initiative between Gaysorn Holding and Hongkong Land. The retail space totalling 12,600m? provides a refined shopping environment that is 100% dedicated to luxury showcasing the best in international brand-names, Thai fashion, home d?cor and jewelry, together with a selection of excellent restaurants and bars.
