Thailand’s Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) approved the listing of 17 tranches of treasury bills, worth THB98 billion.
Trading in these bonds will occur between April 28 — May 29, 2006.
The trading schedule is as follows:
1. April 28, 2006: Five treasury bills worth THB27 billion.
2. May 8, 2006: Three treasury bills worth THB17 billion.
3. May 15, 2006: Three treasury bills worth THB18 billion.
4. May 22, 2006: Three treasury bills worth THB18 billion.
5. May 29, 2006: Three treasury bills worth THB18 billion.
Listing of these treasury bills will boost the total outstanding value of listed bonds trading on BEX to THB2.787 trillion (approx. USD71.46 billion).
