Bangkok Bank has received a record number of applications for its home loans and credit cards during the week of Money Expo 2006.
More than 5,600 people registered for more than Baht 14.80 billion in home loans and around 1,300 people signed up for a new Bangkok Bank credit card making the four day financial fair one of the most successful events the Bank has ever participated in.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Ruchanee Nopmuang said the Bank’s range of special home loan rates proved extremely popular.
“The four-day Money Expo was a huge success for Bangkok Bank. We had a team of more than 100 staff on hand to assist people with their applications and they were kept busy throughout the show. As a result of their efforts, more than 5,600 people registered for home loans.
“The total value of the home loan requests was almost Baht 15 billion, far exceeding our original target,” she said.
Bangkok Bank hosted two booths at this year’s Money Expo. The main booth in Plenary Hall showcased the Bank’s home loan offers, credit card services as well as featuring the hugely successful Bualuang Thanarat 7/49 mutual fund.
Bangkok Bank also sponsored a 324 square metre entertainment area in Zone C which featured a special mini theatre previewing Thailand’s first fully animated feature film, ‘Khan Kluay’. It also featured the Bank’s ever first property sale at Money Expo with over 1000 discounted properties on offer. It is estimated that over 500,000 people visited Zone C over the four-day financial fair.
