Bangkok--19 May--JWT Public Relations “Oriental Princess” by O.P. Natural Products Company Limited announced an investment of 52 million in integrated marketing communication aims to promote the “Keep Beautiful” concept, which includes the company’s first television advertisement, comprising of three sequels. This is to be followed by series of marketing activities, stores renovation for the new trendy image on top of the company’s goal to expand customer-base. Oriental Princess is confident in achieving not less that Bt1,150 million in sales revenue by the year end. Ms. Pasana Intrathip, Chief Executive Officers of O.P. Natural Products Company Limited said “The company’s first quarter performance reported total sales revenue of Bt296 million which was 13% more than expected. The total sales revenue last year was Bt1,049 million. The success resulted from constant product development and collaboration with world-class research and development institutions that enabled Oriental Princess to continuously introduce innovative natural extracted products, combined with oriental beauty to meet with different customer needs”. “In addition, we will regularly improve product package and renovate each branch for a more stylish and trendy look. The second half of the year will be focused on the implementation of our integrated marketing communication plans to emphasize “Oriental Princess” brand, in order to penetrate mass market under the concept “Keep Beautiful”. “This is the first time for Oriental Princess to introduce series of television advertisements. The company has assigned JWT Thailand to develop and create this trendy concept. In addition, JWT Thailand will also be responsible for the marketing activities and public relations program under the “Keep beautiful” concept. The goal of the concept is to alert all women and encourage them not to stop being beautiful. Their unique beauty could bring about many good things in their lives, these include; good personality, confidence, etc. It is important, as it allows people to know and get in touch with who you really are, which is different in everybody”. The first television advertisement series are divided into three sequels; Raining, Shrimp, Birthday Gift, of 30 seconds each. The first sequel is scheduled to be aired on Thursday, May 18th, 2006 while the two remaining sequels will follow in concurrently with roll out advertisement in leading newspapers and magazines. “To be aligned with the concept, Orient Princess continues to develop products that match with the beauty of every woman, especially the skin care product line that now is covering all consumers’ needs. We plan to introduce 12 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) under this category. We also have product development plans for other group of products as well, for example; we will add another 11 SKU under the Toiletries and Hair product group, 63 SKU under the Colours product group and 18 SKU under Lifestyle product group. Ms. Pasana added “We currently have a total of 212,000 members and expect to increase membership by 90,000 members. We will assertively implement our integrated marketing communication plans to penetrate potential target customers, by advertising our product in leading magazines as well as organizing road shows, sales promotion activities with credit card companies aside from offering sales promotion schemes such as privilege point for members to exchange for special discount or Oriental Princess products, exclusive activity for member, and so on”. In regards to Oriental Princess’s plans to increase the number of branches, Ms. Pasana further added “Currently the company has a total of 192 branches which are divided into 156 stand alone branches and 36 branches located in department stores. We expect to add another 18 branches by the end of this year. So, we will have totally 200 branches, covering 72 provinces. The main theme of the store will be a perfect blend between oriental beauty and a touch of nature. Presently, we have renovated Oriental Princess Branch in Siam Square where is the fist revamping shop. Ms. Pasana concluded “We have set a budget of 52 million baht to cover the integrated marketing communication activities in order to penetrate mass market. We are confident that by the end of this year we would be able to achieve total sales revenue as high as 1,150 million baht”.
