Live burials, blood showers, snake-filled kitchens — Fear Factor returns with higher stakes and sharper twists.
Blasting off (literally) with a US$1 million prize, contestants this time team up with family and even complete strangers. Random haircuts and detonating houses get them further in the game, but it’s an uphill battle. The Home Invasion segment takes Fear Factor all over America to family fans in their own home. From Texas to New York to Florida, Home Invasion proves that fear can be found anywhere. Terror comes alive in the 3-week Psycho Fear Factor as contestants live in Bates Motel 24h a day. With no break from the nightmare, can teams face their fears for US$250,000?
Joe Rogan reprises his role as cheerleader cum taunting master-of-the-game with aplomb. Based in LA, Rogan made a successful start with stand-up comedy, and now relishes hosting as a “different kind of creativity”. The 4-time Massachusetts state champion in taekwondo was also US Open Lightweight Champion and Grand Champion, and still practises stand-up in his spare time.
With an all-new stunt team from movies such as The Matrix and Kill Bill, this sixth season of Fear Factor means more surprises and certainly, more fear — where nobody, least of all the contestants, knows what to expect.
