Thailand’s Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) has listed three bond issues, totaling THB 6.0 billion (approx. USD 155.84 million), made up of two bonds issues from Kiatnakin Bank PCL, and two from PTT PCL. The securities are scheduled for listing on June 15, 2006, and their details are:
1. Debentures of Kiatnakin Bank PCL, No. 1/2006, tranche 1, worth THB 1.4 billion (approx. USD 36.36 million), with a 2-year maturity due on May 29, 2008. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.10% p.a., and will use “KK085A” as its trading symbol.
2. Debentures of Kiatnakin Bank PCL, No. 1/2006, tranche 2, worth THB 0.6 billion (approx. USD 15.58 million), with a 3-year maturity due on May 29, 2009. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.25% p.a., and will use “KK095A” as its trading symbol.
3. Unsecured Debentures of PTT PCL, No. 1/2549, tranche 1, worth THB 2.97 billion (approx. USD 77.14 million), with a 10-year maturity due on May 23, 2016. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.17% p.a., and will use “PTTC165B” as its trading symbol.
4. Unsecured Debentures of PTT PCL, No. 1/2549, tranche 2, worth THB 1.03 billion (approx. USD 26.75 million), with a 15-year maturity due on May 23, 2021. The issue bears a fixed interest rate of 6.53% p.a., and will use “PTTC215A” as its trading symbol.
The above issues lift total corporate issues to THB 310.1 billion (approx. USD 8.05 million), and government issues to THB 2.536 trillion (approx. USD 65.87 billion). The overall value of BEX listed bonds will be THB 2.852 trillion (approx. USD 74.08 billion).
