Kasikorn Bank has joined hand with DTAC to develop ‘K-mAlert’, the new service to confirm the completion of money transfer using SMS for bank users, on top of DTAC Corporate SMS system. The collaboration is not only to increase the efficiency of the bank’s money transfer service but also to build up strong confidence for customers when it comes to make an online transaction.
Ampol Polohakul, First Senior Vice President of Kasikorn Bank said that Kasikorn is the first bank that introduces the money transfer alert service via SMS. The service is aimed to supports the money transfer at more than 2,300 ATM kiosks using both ATM cards and Debit cards nationwide.
Sunti Medhavikul, Chief Customer Officer of DTAC said that with DTAC Corporate SMS, once the customers make a money transfer, the ATM kiosks will ask whether they would like to send the money transfer confirmation via SMS to the recipients. If customers agree, the machine will ask them to fill in their own mobile phone number together with the recipients’ numbers. Then, the system will send out the total amount of money transfer, senders’ bank accounts as well as the sender phone number via SMS to the recipients.
With this, the recipients will be informed via SMS anytime when money transferred to their accounts. In turn, senders will also get a confirmation that their transaction is completed.
DTAC Corporate SMS is the system that can make a one-to-many communication to number of customers and employees within organizations within a single time. The system supports the sending of SMS in one time up to 160 English alphabets and 70 Thai alphabets.
