Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited (SET symbol: RATCH) announces the approval of the Board of Directors of the company on 21st August 2006 to pay the interim dividend of year 2006 to the company’s shareholders of the total 1,450 million shares at one baht per share, or total of 1,450 million baht.
The closing date of shareholders registration book for the right to receive the interim dividend is scheduled on 5th September 2006 at 12.00 a.m. The payment to shareholders will be made on 18 th September 2006.
The interim dividend will be paid from the first half-year net income of the company (1st January - 30th June 2006) that has been exempted from the corporate taxation. Therefore, the shareholders cannot call for tax credit on this dividend.
