Small and Powerful Desktop PC — HP’s new addition to the HP Pavilion range of home PCs, the HP Pavilion Slimline PC S series, includes all the power and performance of a standard-sized PC for digital entertainment in the home. HP Pavilion Slimline PC S series is designed to meet consumer needs without sacrificing the performance of a PC or taking up a lot of space. The compact size allows consumers to place the HP Pavilion Slimline PC S series wherever they like within the home and is ideal for a city-dweller in a small apartment, student in a dorm room or a family looking for an additional PC for the kids.
Built on the Intel(R) CoreTM Duo processor, the HP Pavilion Slimline PC S series is available on Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 20053 and features an integrated High Definition Audio 7.1 Surround Sound to allow consumers to enjoy the TV, as well as their photos, music, videos and HP Games4. The family-oriented games, which range from adventure, action and sports, to puzzle and word games, promise endless entertainment and fun for every member of the family.
Feature-packed the HP Pavilion Slimline PC S series includes a 9-in-1 digital card reader for the easy transfer of digital files; a double-layer Super Multi-Drive that enables consumers to burn their favourite TV programs and music videos onto CDs and DVDs; as well as LightScribe, for convenient labeling of CDs and DVDs.
Consumers will be able to personalize the Slimline PC with customizable skins, known as CoolSkinz, that are available in many fun designs in solid colors, abstract images, fabric, patterns and floral images. Alternatively, consumers can create their own skin designs at www.hp.com/go/skins/asia .
High Definition Digital Entertainment — HP also launched flat, widescreen 19-inch and 20-inch LCD monitors with extreme resolutions at 1440 x 900 pixels and fast response times for bright and sharp graphics for multimedia viewing, photo editing or gaming on the PC. The monitors’ wide-viewing angle and tilt make them easy to adjust and manipulate between multiple windows, lessening the need to scroll. Designed with a slim profile, the monitors minimize clutter and fit into any room in the modern digital home.
