Every individual has his or her moment to shine, and that moment can change their lives! With real people and gritty challenges, Shun Tak AXN Xtreme Macau brings AXN’s action-adventure lifestyle within reach for 8 contestants all over Asia as they come together in scenic Macau to compete against each other for the grand prize of not just US$30, 000, but the glory of victory!
Chosen from thousands of ordinary individuals across the continent including viewers who signed up online for an intensive selection process, the contestants bring together a myriad of different cultural backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: the thirst to win any test and prove themselves the bravest and toughest! Think Asians are reserved and docile? No way! Watch as contestants go to all lengths to win the challenges — crazy dares that require physical strength, mental prowess and of course, a steely determination to beat the competition!
Based on a novel reality-programming concept, AXN Xtreme Macau is AXN’s first major television production in exotic, culturally rich Macau, where courage and guts are not enough and nobody knows when Lady Luck might decide to play her hand. If life is about overcoming extreme challenges, this is life lived to its fullest!
