November 14, 2006 - United Communication Industry Public Company Limited (“UCOM”) reported a net profit from continued operations for 9 months 2006 of THB 1,044 million, an increase of 10% YoY.
UCOM’s continued operations is now mainly contributed from UCOM’s share in Total Access Communication PLC (DTAC) in addition to revenue from e-refill management, which UCOM has been a distributor for DTAC for electronic top up of airtime in the Bangkok area since the second quarter 2006.
Discontinued operations are down YoY following a transfer of the sales of assets and core business of UCOM to Benchachinda.
