The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has approved new listings on the Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX) worth THB 80 billion (about USD 2.29 billion) from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Bank of Thailand (BOT).
1. BOT50/41/14D, worth THB 30 billion, has a 14-day maturity and will fall due on May 14, 2007. It will commence trading on April 30, 2007 using “CB07514A” as its trading symbol.
2. Treasury bills worth THB 11 billion to commence trading on April 27, 2007, are comprised of:
- TB50/31/28D, worth THB 3 billion, with a 28-day maturity and falling due on May 30, 2007. It will use “TB07530C” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L31/91D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 91-day maturity and falling due on August 1, 2007. It will use “TB07801B” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L31/182D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 182-day maturity and falling due on October 1, 2007. It will use “TB07O31A” as its trading symbol.
3. Treasury bills worth THB 10 billion to commence trading on May 4, 2007, are comprised of:
- TB50/32/28D, worth THB 2 billion, with a 28-day maturity and falling due on June 6, 2007. It will use “TB07606C” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L32/91D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 91-day maturity and falling due on August 8, 2007. It will use “TB07808B” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L32/182D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 182-day maturity and falling due on July 7, 2007. It will use “TB07N07A” as its trading symbol.
4. Treasury bills worth THB 9 billion to commence trading on May 14, 2007, are comprised of:
- TB50/33/28D, worth THB 2 billion, with a 28-day maturity and falling due on June 13, 2007. It will use “TB07613C” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L33/91D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 91-day maturity and falling due on August 15, 2007. It will use “TB07815B” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L33/182D, worth THB 3 billion, with a 182-day maturity and falling due on November 14, 2007. It will use “TB07N14A” as its trading symbol.
5. Treasury bills worth THB 9 billion to commence trading on May 21, 2007, are comprised of:
- TB50/34/28D, worth THB 2 billion, with a 28-day maturity and falling due on June 20, 2007. It will use “TB07620C” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L34/91D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 91-day maturity and falling due on August 22, 2007. It will use “TB07822B” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L34/182D, worth THB 3 billion, with a 182-day maturity and falling due on November 21, 2007. It will use “TB07N21A” as its trading symbol.
6. Treasury bills worth THB 11 billion to commence trading on May 28, 2007, are comprised of:
- TB50/35/28D, worth THB 3 billion, with a 28-day maturity and falling due on June 27, 2007. It will use “TB07627C” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L35/91D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 91-day maturity and falling due on August 29, 2007. It will use “TB07829B” as its trading symbol.
- TB50/L35/182D, worth THB 4 billion, with a 182-day maturity and falling due on November 28, 2007. It will use “TB07N28A” as its trading symbol.
These issues will lift BEX-listed government bonds to THB 3.19 trillion (about USD 91.23 billion), or 90.12% of the value of all listed bonds. The total listed value of bonds now rises to THB 3.54 trillion (about USD 101.23 billion).
