Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) pcl. has recently re-launched its Power Saver Plus savings account which offers high interest rates, top up bonus and cash management service to maximize return on savings account.
Mr. Fred Saarloos, Senior Executive Vice President, Consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) said:
“Power Saver Plus savings account has been designed to meet the needs of customers who have regular income deposited into their savings accounts but are too busy to manage the account to get maximum return. With Power Savers Plus savings account, customers can now be ensured that their cash reserves are producing high yields while they are not losing the convenience of cash accessibility by using the product bundling and personalized cash management services.”
Power Saver Plus savings account offers higher interest rates than similar savings accounts at many other banks - 3.15% p.a. for accounts with balances of 200,000 baht or greater, and 2.8% p.a. for account balances below 200,000 baht. Minimum balance requirement is 100,000 baht. Interest is paid monthly, plus 5% top up bonus on interest for no withdrawal in every six months. Two withdrawals per month can be made with no charge, third transaction onwards will be charged at 500 baht per transaction.
Customers can enjoy more money movement convenience while maintaining high interest return by bundling two savings accounts - Power Saver Plus and Power Saver — and have the money transfer between the two accounts with either Auto Sweep or Standing Order service.
