Executive Vice President Virachai Ratanabanchuen of Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) revealed that the company has signed a joint venture agreement with Yonekyu Corporation, Japan represented by its president Katsuhiko Ishino to establish “CP-Yonekyu Co.,Ltd,” in 2005. Presently, the company’s manufacturer invested of million Bt 530, is ready to produce high quality meat-based food products with its 4,800 tonnes/year of its capacity.
CP-Yonekyu has applied Yonekyu’s intrinsic technology system in producing high quality pork meat products in form of ham, sausages, Kakuni, etc. In addition, the company will increase its exported potentiality by supplying products to Yonkeyu customers which are currently based in Japan, China ,and the United States. Thus, the exporting ratio of its products will be 80% and 20 % for domestic markets which all products will sell under the brand “CP-Yonekyu.”
The manufacturer is located on a 19 rais of land, on Suwintawongse Rd, Chachoengsao. CP-Yonekyu intents to produce only food products of the highest quality and safety in accordance with codex regulations of ISO 9001:2000 ,GMP, HACCP as well as traceability system.
“Exporting pork meat products will help the overall performance in long term of Thailand’s pork industry. Furthermore, it will push up more revenue to the country and will sustain the stability of pork price, said Virachai.”

In addition, the company also obtains wholesale markets of meat products, ham, sausages, and other products in Japan, China, and USA.
