Fuel surcharge to Singapore, Langkawi, Penang, Hanoi, Yangon and Phnom Penh will increase from 600 baht to 750 baht; to Kuala Lumpur to 615 baht; and to all destinations in China, which include Macau, Xiamen and Shenzhen, to 800 baht.
Fuel surcharge on domestic airfare will remain at 400 baht. Thai AirAsia flies within Thailand to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Krabi, Narathiwat, Phuket, Surat Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani.
Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, chief executive officer of Thai AirAsia, said, “We have received approval from the Department of Civil Aviation to increase the fuel surcharge. With all the charges, our fares remain the lowest in every destination we fly to.”
