On June 1st, earthTV’s newest camera located in Dubrovnik, Croatia, launched, while, earthTV’s first camera in South Korea will be online in mid-July.
Also known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and traces its roots back to the 12th century. The earthTV camera is located in the old city.
Dubrovnik boasts the oldest pharmacy is Europe, dating back to 1317 is located at the Little Brothers church in the city, and boasts (Italian) fashion maestro, Ottavio Missoni, sculptor Josip Ivanovic, soccer star Davor Sukur among its famous sons.
The earthTV camera in Seoul, the South Korean capital, is being installed in the Cheonggyecheong area and is expected to be operational by July 15.
In the heart of Seoul, the world’s 5th largest city runs the Cheonggyecheong River. In the 1960s, the river and surrounding area were built over to accommodate a highway development but a project to restore the stream was unveiled in 2005 and has been heralded as a major triumph of urban renewal. Cheonggyecheong has quickly become a magnet for visitors to Seoul.
