Bangkok--14 Jun--Krungthai Card KTC rides local and foreign discount waves, launches “KTC Shopping Fest” with the collaboration of partners in travel and luxurious products industries. The campaign brings members numerous privileges and discounts in the areas of dining, shopping and traveling to meet the diverse requirements from now until the end of August. KTC expects the campaign will bring spending up by 20%. The third quarter of every year from July to September sees highest spending via the card. Shopping volume in the third quarter of 2006 amounted to 200 Million Baht. This is because a lot of people like to shop in Hong Kong and Singapore. Bangkok-Hong Kong for only 8,900 Baht inclusive of air fares, accommodation and shuttle between airport and hotel; or, Bangkok-Singapore for only 4,800 Baht inclusive of air fares, accommodation and shuttle between airport and hotel.
