Bangkok--15 Jun--Francom Asia Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented a silver shield and a certificate awarded by APEC Australia 2007 to Dr. Piya Bhirombhakdi, Chairman of BB Groups Trading Co Ltd, on the occasion of Sawasdee Khao Yai Chenin Blanc 2005 winning the second prize in the white wine category at the Wine & Beverage Competition, APEC Australia 2007 on April 3, 2007 in Adelaide, Australia. The prize presentation ceremony took place on June 7, 2007 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With a long tradition, 21 members of APEC joined the event this year and vied for the top honour of the wine and beverage competition. To be this year’s representative of the Thai wine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs selected Sawasdee Khao Yai as Thailand’s best wine.
