Bangkok--15 Jun--BES Wednesday 13th June 2007, saw the official launch at BITEC, Bangna, Bangkok of ProPak Asia 2007. The 15th International Processing, Filling and Packaging, Technology exhibition and conference for the Asian Region. Mr.Damri Sukhotanang; Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industry cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony along with guests of honour from the government private sector and crowds of visitors. ProPak Asia 2007 is the trade show which gathers entrepreneurs and Industry professionals from more than 650 companies and from 30 countries around the world The machines on display represent the latest technology and innovation for food processing and packing. Other sections include; brewing and beverages, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, Lab &Test equipment etc. There are also many interesting conferences and seminars for the processing and packaging industry which are supported by the; Thai Packaging Center, Food Science & Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT), the Department of Fisheries, Brewing group and also FoSTAT Nestle’ Quiz Bowl 2007.
