Bangkok--18 Jun--SET SETTRADE.Com Co., Ltd. (SETTRADE) allocated Total Access Communication PCL (DTAC)’s 44 million shares using a computerized random allocation system. The system is efficient and has served IPO allocation of leading listed companies. DTAC share subscribers can check their subscription from 17:00 hrs. of June 15 onwards. DTAC has been listed on Singapore Exchange Ltd. since 1995 and will soon be listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), thus becoming a dual listing. The company provides wireless communication services in Thailand. The company offered 222 million shares in its initial public offering (IPO) during June 12 — 13, 2007, of which 44 million shares were sold to retail investors and allocated on a random basis. “SETTRADE is certain that the system and processes are efficient and transparent, and so can ensure that the allocation of 11,281 subscriptions seeking 44 million shares was done fairly for the general public and DTAC employees,” SETTRADE CEO Ms. Chanisa Chutipat said. Subscription data was transferred to SETTRADE’s system from Kasikorn Bank PCL (KBANK) and Siam Commercial Bank PCL, who acted as agents for the IPO, following which SETTRADE and DTAC’s underwriters jointly verified the subscription forms and numbers of shares requested. The subscription data was then processed by the random allocation system. Only Thai citizens or juristic persons were eligible to apply for the 44 million shares allocated to the general public. Subscriptions were limited to one per person and, where more than one subscription form was received, the single application seeking the highest number of shares was deemed to be the only valid request. Random allocation took place in two rounds, with the first round allotting 500 shares to each subscription application, and the second distributing the balance of any shares sought. The results of the DTAC share allocation for retail investors are now available on www.settrade.com . Subscribers can check their subscription on the website by keying in either their subscription form or personal identification number. Alternatively they can call any of the following call centers - DTAC: 1678, SCB: 02 777 7777, KBANK: 02 888 8888 or SET: 0 2229 2222. SETTRADE has previously undertaken a number of computerized random share allocations involving the following listed companies: Airports of Thailand PCL, Bangkok Metro PCL, Internet Thailand PCL, ITV PCL, MCOT PCL, Rayong Refinery PCL and Thai Oil PCL.
