Bangkok--27 Jun--River City Invite you to touch with aesthetics of works of art in Lanna style, entitled the “Colorful Lanna” Art Exhibition during July 9-18, 2007 at 11 am.-8 pm. and be presided over by Mr. Amorn Phongphetraratana, Manager of Dasko Co.,Ltd. on July 9, 2007 at 6.30 pm. in the Grand Hall, River City Shopping Complex, Si-Phraya pier. This exhibition will feature painting and sculptural arts, relieved in high and low in Lanna style, reflected including Thai culture, Thai tradition, philosophy, religion, food including ideas and feelings of 6 artists. The 6 artists consist of; 1. Sompol Yarangsee, a Chiengrai artist passes on stories of natural colour, specific characteristics of Lanna people such as calm, simple, cheerful, and lively and stories of nature; mountains and flowers. 2. Jaroon Chaijit, an expert in carving with objects relieved in high and low presents philosophy and religion. 3. Silapavitaya Chiewvicha, his paintings in supper-realism are offered about Thai food. 4. Preecha Rachawong, a Chieng-Rai artist presents stories of rice, food for Thai people, and comparison of lotus about religious history with life of human. 5. Narongdej Sudjai shows paintings about simple life in the country, Thai tradition, and daily routine. 6. Jakraphan Chaijit, his painting reflects stories of elephants.
