Bangkok--5 Jul--KBANK KASIKORNBANK is preparing to launch a KBank Everyday Card offering benefits such as a 0.5-1.0 percent cash back refund to credit to customers’ credit card accounts on each card use. In the first year, the Bank targets issuing 40,000 of these cards. Mr. Krisada Lamsam, Executive Vice President, revealed that the Bank is now preparing to issue KBank Everyday Cards. It is a Titanium MasterCard for customers who routinely spend with their credit card daily, but do not find it convenient to participate in our bonus point program to exchange for gifts as with our general K-credit cards. The KBank Everyday Card will return cash cardholders’ accounts immediately during a given credit card accounting period, instead of collecting bonus points like normal cards. The refund is calculated as a percentage where cardholders will get a 1 percent refund on spending transactions at restaurants, supermarkets and petrol stations, while spending at other business venues will earn a refund of 0.5 percent. The Bank has set no limit on the type or specific business in the categories of restaurant, supermarket, petrol station or food outlet anywhere across the country and globally. Neither would there be a deadline on card spending, so users of the KBank Everyday Card will receive cash back credited to their credit card accounts in each accounting period up to a maximum of THB24,000 per annum. Significantly, the Bank has not identified other conditions on minimum payments for each accounting period, or the remaining balance from the previous accounting period. So the cash back will be more easily and conveniently rewarded to KBank Everyday cardholders and you will have no more worries about balances. Aside from the cash back refund, rewarded to your account in each accounting period where you have spending, KBank Everyday cardholders will also receive other privileges like spending via other KBank credit cards, notably Smart Pay, which offers installment payments with 0- percent interest rate or a special interest rate on purchases. These include Smart Shopping, which is a promotion for chip-cardholders available at 100 alliance shops that offer you discounts or rewards on your spending amount and frequency. These are also special privileges for your birthday, etc., based on the terms of promotions by the Bank all year-round. Mr. Krisada added that issuing the KBank Everyday Card is regarded as part of KGroup Solutions. The Bank aims to issue 40,000 KBank Everyday Cards in the first year and expects to considerably increase the overall spending volume on credit cards of the Bank.
