Bangkok--11 Jul--Image Impact As a part of its comprehensive plans to expand its international operations and strengthen its management team, Jet Airways announces the appointment of Gerry Oh as its Regional Vice President for South East Asia. Gerry Oh will be based in Singapore and report to Jet Airways EVP Marketing, Anita Goyal. He will oversee the airline’s regional sales, marketing, operations and lead the airline’s rapid expansion in the region. Gerry brings to the company a wealth of travel industry experience having had a distinguished career in Singapore Airlines spanning more than 25 years that included engineering, route planning, alliances and marketing. He was the airline’s Vice President for Marketing Communications & Development and subsequently served as Vice President for Global Sales & Distribution. He also spent several years in the field as Country Manager/State Manager for the airline in Europe, North America, Sri Lanka and Australia. Prior to joining Jet Airways, Gerry spent nearly 3 years as Senior Vice President for Global Sales & Marketing for the London listed Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc, where he was responsible for leading the fast growing hotel’s group strategic initiatives in sales, marketing, distribution & web development.
