Starting July 23, Thai AirAsia’s flights to Phnom Penh will increase from once to twice daily. Starting August 1, flights to Surat Thani will increase from once to twice daily, while flights to Hanoi will increase from twice to thrice daily. Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, chief executive officer of Thai AirAsia, said, “Surat Thani, Phnom Penh and Hanoi are among our guests’ favorite destinations. We are adding flights to these exciting cities to allow more guests to fly there and to fly there more often. Our very low fares will allow more people to visit these cities and thus contribute to the growth of tourism there.” “Our second flight daily to Surat Thani, which is the gateway to Koh Samui, will allow vacationers to leave the island later in the afternoon and therefore enjoy more of the island,” he added. Thai AirAsia seats may be purchased online at www.airasia.com, through the call center at +662 515 9999, from AIS customer service counters in Bangkok, and from ticket counters at selected Tesco Lotus branches in Thailand.
