Bangkok--11 Jul--Francom Asia PR The hugely popular Korean actor and singer Rain is the new face of an advertising campaign by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) launching Monday July 2nd on CNN International and CNN US to more than 280 million households around the world. He stars in a thirty second TV advert highlighting the country’s different qualities, before stating that Korea is ‘The place to be’. Celebrating Korea as young, dynamic and hip, the TV spots capitalise on the country’s enormous recent success in exporting TV and music across Asia and beyond. Rain himself has been at the forefront of this charge and the KTO campaign is set to bring him greater global exposure. The campaign was shot in Seoul and runs internationally until the end of July and in the US until the end of September. “Rain fits perfectly the new brand concept, ‘Korea, Sparkling’ by representing the country's revitalizing energy.
