Bangkok--20 Jul--SET The media subsidiary of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has been restructured to provide investors with a more tightly integrated source of information and understanding about the Thai capital market. The Board of Directors of Family Know-how Co., Ltd. (FKH) has reorganized FKH, which manages Money Channel TV station, Money & Wealth magazine, radio programs and other print media. At the same time, Mr. Punsak Vejanurug, Chairman of SET’s Capital Market Education, was also appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Family Know-how. Mr. Vichate Tantiwanich, SET Executive Vice President who earlier was also FKH Chief Executive Officer, was transferred to oversee the investor base and listed firm expansion at SET’s Capital Market Opportunity Center, effective August 1, 2007. “The restructuring is to affirm the company’s position as an integrated, comprehensive disseminator of news and information to create knowledge and understanding about investment while generating a culture of continuous and transparent investment, using Money Channel, Money & Wealth magazine, and other media such as radio and newspapers”, said Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai, SET President. There will be a clearer segmentation of target viewers and programming in Money Channel, catering to demands from potential, new or active investors, and even capital market professionals, such as listed firm officers and securities company staff. This TV station will provide complete and timely news and information both for investment and for facilitating the work of financial INDUSTRY professionals. The station’s activities will be assessed quarterly to ensure all programs broadcast met viewers’ needs. The Board also appointed a committee to oversee the contents of all news and information disseminated through Money Channel, collaborating with Thailand Securities Institute, SET Research Institute, Securities Analysts Association and FKH. This committee will be chaired by FKH CEO Mr. Punsak Vejanurug; members will be Mr. Vichate Tantiwanich, overseeing SET’s Capital Market Opportunity Center; Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool, Adviser, SET Research Institute; Mr. Krisada Sektrakul, Vice President, SET Content Development Department Head; Mr. Sombat Narawutthichai, Secretary-General, Securities Analysts Association; Mr. Ratchapol Laovanitch, FKH President; Mr. Bancha Chumchaivate, FKH Executive Editor; and Mr. Kirati Kosicharoen, Vice President, FKH Strategic Marketing Group.
