Bangkok--26 Jul--Nio Target According to the workshop entitled "Powering up the Lives of Asian Men Beyond 40" held during the 4th Congress of Asia Pacific Society of Aging Male (APSSAM) in Bali, Indonesia organized by Bayer Schering Pharma, it was found that applying the Testosterone Undecanoate along with Vardenafil would help better men's erectile function. Kavirach Tantiwongse, urinary tract s specialist from Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn hospital, revealed that one out of five men, who has suffered with the erectile dysfunction, has lower testosterone than the normal level. This has prevented the patients to respond to the regular Erectile Dysfunction treatment. However, when treating the Erectile Dysfunction with Testosterone Undecanoate along with Vardenafil, it has showed the satisfying efficient result. It was found that Testosterone Undecanoate and Vardenafil helped produce the Nitric Oxide, which is the chemical compound that controls the erection of men's penis. “In Thailand, it was found that more than 42 per cent of Thai men with age between 40-70 years old are suffering with ED. Men with age over 40, are annually having around 1.2 per cent decrease of Testosterone hormone. If the hormone level drops further than the standard level, which is around 11-12 nanomole/litre, it's possible that there might be some tissue within the penis is dysfunctioned and some fat has amassed within the tissue. This will probably cause the ED." Kavirach added that the Testosterone Undecanoate intramuscular injection 1000 mg will help regain the Testosterone level back to normal in three months while the solution applied with the skin, which is not available in Thailand, will maintain the hormone within the body for 6-9 months. Kavirach concluded "To treat the ED, apart from applying the medicine, the patients can also take care of themselves. For example, they should go to bed early. They should daily exercise at least 30 minutes or at least three days a week. Also, patients should communicate and ask their partner to build up good atmosphere. If these methods don't work, the patients should consult with the medical professionals. The sooner the patients consult with the medical professionals, the more efficiency the treatment will be.
