Bangkok--31 Jul--PTT Mr. Chaivat Churitti, Senior Executive Vice President, Oil Business Group, PTT Pbulic Company Limited (PTT), revealed that amid the current crisis on high oil prices, PTT, as Thailand’s National Energy Company, has tried to ease the public burden by delaying any possible upward retail oil price revision and maintaining energy stability via promoting higher consumption of alternative fuels. Also, PTT has joined hands with HSBC (Thailand) on the extension of “HSBC 3% Cash Back at PTT Service Station” Promotion for another 6 months to January 31, 2008 (the promotion was originally scheduled between Feb. 1 to July 31, 2007). Under the Cash Back Promotion, PTT Customers settling their fuel bills at any PTT Petrol Stations that join the campaign will be given discount via HSBC Credit Card. Such privilege campaign will help more than 500,000 PTT Customers and HSBC Card Holders to save their fuel expenditures until next year. “HSBC 3% Cash Back at PTT Service Station” allows the customer who fills up fuel at PTT Stations for every Baht800 and makes payment via HSBC Credit Card to receive 3% cash back. The amount will be deposited into the customer’s HSBC Credit Card Account within 2 accounting periods from the date of fuel billing settlement. As per transaction, Baht24 discount will be given, and the maximum of Baht150 is allowed per accounting period or equivalent to the combined fuel billing settlement of Baht5,000.
