Bangkok--2 Aug--Dusit Island Resort Chiang Rai The Thailand Energy Award 2007, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, was recently awarded 1st prize to Dusit Island Resort, Chiang Rai for its outstanding “Hybrid Solar-Waste Heat Water Heater System, OFF-GRID” category, under the Re-Project Competition, organized by Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy. This system, which provides energy from recycled waste water, was devised by Dusit Island Resort.
