Bangkok--3 Aug--Aziam Burson-Marsteller Big C Supercenter PLC., led by Mrs. Jaruwan Thammakaesorn (3rd from right), Director of Fresh Food, Big C Supercenter PLC. have signed an MoU with the Na Sarn Agricultural Cooperative in Surat Thani province to help farmers in the south sell about 1,500 tons of fruit valued at 50 million baht. Mr. Vinyoo Thongsakul (2nd from left), Deputy Governor of Surat Thani province, Mrs. Supatta Tanasaeneewat (center), the Director-General of Cooperative Promotion Department, and Mr. Virat Kongsub, the Chairman of the Na Sarn Agricultural Cooperative joined signing ceremony. This agreement reflects the desire of Big C Supercenter to be a distributor of local fruits, and will help reduce the problem of oversupply as well as protect the fruit’s market price.
