Bangkok--8 Aug--Tongsai Bay The Tongsai Bay is truly a creation of “love-at-first-sight” when the late Khun Akorn Hoontrakul saw the enchanting beach 20 years ago. Pridiyadhorn Devakura, Dr. Wipandh Reungvittaya, Dr. Olarn Chaiprawat, and Khun Santiparp Techavanich. The 20th anniversary celebration carried a “pink dress” theme and prepared the Best Pink Dress award. The winner was given a round-trip ticket Bangkok-Samui, a two night stay, and special services at the Tongsai Hotel. Khun Walaiporn Na Bangchang and her pink hat won the hearts of the judges. On top of that, Khun Kob and Khun Koya also prepared five other awards and memorable souvenirs for guests: Thai traditional satchels and Thai fisherman pants, which obviously reflected unique styles of the hosts. The event was highlighted with spectacular shows such as a video presentation chronicling the 20 years of history of the Tongsai Bay and her preserved environment, unchanged landscape and rich nature. Creatures at the area are especially increasing in number since Khun Kob and Khun Koya are champions of natural conservation. The hotel’s staff have learned about protecting the nature and the creatures through serious program trainings at the hotel. A series of “Natural Conservation” fashion shows was also introduced at the event..
